Hi there!

I’m Xingpan (Clark) Jin, an industrial designer currently working at DEKA Research and Development Corp. Since joining DEKA, I have worked on the design of medical devices in areas of mobility robotics, organ regenerative therapy, intravenous infusion, dialysis, and diabetes care. 

I believe the purpose of design is to solve complex issues with intuitive solutions by considering the "people" factors. This is especially important in emerging medical technologies, where the impact can be profound, and where users often encounter these innovations for the first time. I’m passionate about designing with empathy and clarity, helping transform unfamiliar technologies into accessible, empowering, and ultimately life-changing experiences.
